RealWax™ ProJet™ patterns are ideal for casting jewelry, apparel, micro-detail medical devices, medical implants, electrical components, figurines, replicas, collectables and more. Maximum pattern size can be as large 11.75 x 7.3 x 8 inches.

EXAMPLE PARTS
 
The following are example parts, the pictures of which have been borrowed from the various websites. We at the CETL are working on a variety of applications using our 3DSystems CPX 3000plus, and we will be posting images of our progress as we go. In the meantime, we hope that these pictures will give you a sense of what is possible from this new machine.

CETL Parts

These images show the sequence of shell casting. The top image shows, starting at the left, the printed wax pattern, 3 patterns attached to a casting tree, the ceramic shell mold with the wax pattern still in place, and a cast token.

The next image is a close-up of the wax pattern showing the pouring sprue and the wax runners leading to the token pattern.

The final image shows the cast token.
